The University Prep Camp in Malibu   Your Students’ Pathway to Learning about the American University System Education is an essential element in preparing students to thrive in our increasingly global world. The ELS University Prep Program, held on the campus of Pepperdine University, in scenic Malibu, provides that next step in preparing students for academic success! Besides offering your students a specialized set of courses that focus on the American university system, the University Prep Program also presents them with a unique opportunity to actually visit several universities. This gives students the chance to be exposed to university life in person. Scheduled visits to a variety of schools include: Pepperdine University, an independent medium-sized university; Santa Monica College, a public community college; Loyola Marymount University, an independent medium-sized university; the University of Southern California (USC), a large private university with 8,600 international students; and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), a large public university hosting 6,200 international students.
