This three-week program of General English and American Culture classes lets students practice English with professional ELS instructors. Each week there are organized trips where students can learn more about New York City and American culture. Destinations include places such as The Brooklyn Bridge, The Empire State Building and, of course, The Statue of Liberty! Other daily optional student activities include trips to many New York City museums, Times Square, walks through Central Park and many other famous New York City sights.
ELS/Juilliard is located at the esteemed Juilliard School, located at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in the very safe area of the Upper Westside of Manhattan. The student dorm is located within the facilities, and is directly across from Lincoln Center Plaza (age requirement for the dorm is 17 years old). Each suite has private, double bedrooms and three bathrooms, with only eight students assigned per suite. The cafeteria is conveniently located on the first floor of the building and the meal plan is included in the price of the dormitory.
